Terms of Service for +MALVI - Empowering Startups: A Call for Innovation & Impact

These Terms of Service govern the relationship between MALVI DESIGN PC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and applicants (“you,” “your,” or “applicant”) who participate in our open call for startups, “+MALVI - Empowering Startups: A Call for Innovation & Impact.”

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application to this initiative, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before applying. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not participate in this program.

2. Eligibility

• Be in the pre-seed, seed, or pre-revenue stage.
• Be a legal entity or intend to form one prior to any potential investment.
• Must have a well-defined product, service, or business model.
• We may prioritize startups focused on tech or product-based ventures with a positive impact mission, but all applications are welcome.

3. Application Process

• Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline: 30.11.2024.
• All required fields in the application form must be completed accurately and truthfully.
• We reserve the right to reject any incomplete or inaccurate applications without further consideration.
• Submitted materials (pitch decks, documents, etc.) will be treated confidentially, and will not be shared outside of our review team without your consent.

4. Selection Process

• We will select up to two (2) startups from the pool of applicants based on criteria such as the strength of the idea, the potential for impact, scalability, and the alignment with our expertise.
• The decision-making process is solely at our discretion, and we reserve the right to amend or withdraw the selection process at any time.

5. Collaboration & Partnership

• Selected startups will be offered strategic support, services, and potential micro-investments, as outlined on the landing page.
• Specific terms of collaboration, such as board positions, co-founder roles, or equity stakes, will be negotiated based on our level of involvement with each startup.
• We do not guarantee financial investment and reserve the right to provide services only without equity or financial backing if agreed.

6. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of all intellectual property (IP) related to your startup, ideas, and materials submitted during the application process.
• By submitting an application, you grant us the right to review and discuss your submission for the purpose of evaluating your eligibility for the program.
• We will not use or exploit your IP without entering into a separate agreement with you.

7. Confidentiality

• We will keep all submitted information confidential and will not disclose any proprietary information shared during the application process.
• We expect the same level of confidentiality from you regarding any materials, services, or insights we provide during the collaboration process.

8. No Guarantee of Success

Participation in this program does not guarantee success, revenue, or further investment. Startups are responsible for their own operational decisions, and we are not liable for any losses or outcomes resulting from the collaboration.

9. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify applicants via the contact information provided during the application process.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thessaloniki, GREECE, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
